Family Peer Advocate (FPA) Orientation Training for Supervisors

As outlined in the Children and Family Treatment and Support Services (CFTSS) Manual, supervisors of Family Peer Advocates who are not credentialed peers themselves are required to participate in training on the FPA role. Through a partnership between CTAC and Families Together in NYS, online training to fulfill this requirement is now available.

You will be completing the same Level 1 training modules that FPAs complete as part of their credentialing process. These modules will help to orient you to the intent of family peer services, the roles of family peers, and familiarize you with FPA training and credentialing requirements.
