NEW! “FPA’s Managing Peer-to-Peer Triggers & Boundaries “
Friday, November 21, 2025 @ 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
This training explores the challenges Family Peer Advocates (FPAs) may face when navigating interpersonal dynamics with peers and colleagues. Participants will learn strategies for identifying and managing personal triggers, setting and maintaining healthy professional boundaries, and fostering positive peer-to-peer relationships. Through interactive exercises, real-life examples, and discussion, FPAs will develop skills to enhance self-awareness, reduce conflict, and maintain professional resilience while supporting families and communities. Emphasis is placed on trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices to ensure effective and ethical peer interactions.
