FAMILY PEER ADVOCATE pROFESSIONAL CREDENTIAL (fpa-c)
An individual seeking a FPA Professional Credential must hold a valid FPA Provisional Credential.
Follow the “steps” below to resume your progress!
Step 3: Complete Level 2 Online Training
How Do I Access Level 2 Online Training?
- Access will be automatically granted upon completion of Level 1 Online Training.
- Can complete before or after receiving a Provisional Credential.

Steps 4 & 5: Complete Level 2 Advanced Training and Coaching Calls
Registration Requirements:
- Completion of Level 1 & Level 2 Online Modules
- Hold a valid FPA Provisional Credential
- Providing Family Peer Support Services (FPSS) to families for at least 3 months independently
- Currently employed in NYSOMH licensed, designated or funded programs providing Medicaid reimbursable services of family peer support.

2026 Training Schedule
1-hour Orientation: Monday, June 1 @ 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM
Day 1: Thursday, June 3 @ 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Day 2: Friday, June 4 @ 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Day 3: Monday, June 7 @ 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Day 4: Tuesday, June 8 @ 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Coaching Calls will occur on Mondays & Wednesdays @ 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM from 6/22/26 through 8/12/26.
Availability is limited to the first 16 eligible registrants. If you do not yet meet registration requirements, your registration will not be approved.
