This presentation explores the vital role Family Peer Advocates (FPAs) play in building strong partnerships with schools to support families. By leveraging their lived experience, FPAs can help bridge the gap between home and school, promote effective communication, and empower parents to actively engage in their child’s education. Attendees will gain insights into how FPAs collaborate with educators, address barriers, and work alongside families to ensure students receive the support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
