yOUTH PEER ADVOCATE pROFESSIONAL CREDENTIAL (Ypa-C)
An individual seeking a YPA Professional Credential must hold a valid YPA Provisional Credential.
Follow the “steps” below to resume your progress!
Step 3: Complete Level 2 Online Training
How Do I Access Level 2 Online Training?
- Access will be automatically granted upon completion of Level 1 Online Training.
- Can complete before or after receiving a Provisional Credential (link).
When you click the button below you will be redirected to the Self-Learning Center hosted by our partners from the Community Technical Assistance Center of New York (CTAC). This is where you will resume your coursework.
Steps 4 & 5: Complete Level 2 Advanced Training and Coaching Calls
Registration Requirements:
- Completion of Level 1 & Level 2 Online Modules
- Hold a valid YPA Provisional Credential (link)
- Providing Youth Peer Support (YPS) Services to youth/young adults for at least 3 months independently

2026 Training Schedule
1-hour Orientation: Monday, March 9 @ 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Day 1: Thursday, March 12 @ 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Day 2: Friday, March 13 @ 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Day 3: Monday, March 16 @ 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Day 4: Tuesday, March 17 @ 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Trainees are also required to participate in weekly, one-hour coaching calls on Tuesdays @ 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM from 3/31 through 5/19.
