Event Details: Family Peer Advocates play a critical role in supporting caregivers who are navigating complex systems. Caregivers involved in family court often experience fear, shame, and stigma, which can impact their ability to engage confidently in the process.
In this session, we will explore the challenges caregivers face, as well as the unique role of the Family Peer Advocate. Participants will gain foundational knowledge of the family court system, understand role boundaries, and learn strategies for providing strength-based, trauma-informed support.
